Welcome...

Welcome to my project 365.

What is project 365? It is simply where you take a photo a day for 365 days.

Why do project 365? People do it for different reasons but I received a new camera for xmas and in order to get used to using it I decided the best way was to use it often, not just when I schedule a shoot but for everyday things. Project 365 will get me thinking outside the 'box' and make me think more creatively about what I am photographing. If you happen to stop by don't be a blog stalker :) sign up and leave me a message........I hate talking to myself!

Ok well I finished my 365 so now what? For now I'm just going to update a few things that happen so that family members following can still see what we are up to.

MOMENTS IN LIFE

Day 294 / 365

Life is a series of moments, most of them going past unnoticed, every second, every minute, every day.  But sometimes a moment comes along that will be with you for ever and today that moment came for me.  A moment so terrifying, so full of fear that it brings you to your knees, where time stands still and everything else disappears.
Miss A had an accident at a playground today and by the time I got to her I realised something was badly wrong.  Rather than crying she was turning blue and went limp in my arms.  That was the moment that fear gripped me.  I will be eternally grateful to the friend who ran to help and called the ambulance.  We thought she had injured her back but she wouldn't respond to us once she became conscious, she kept her eyes closed and just cried.  There was a moment of relief when the ambulance arrived and further relief when she finally calmed down, opened her eyes and gave me a faint smile.  At that moment I knew whatever the outcome we could handle it, my girl was back.
There appeared to be no major injuries to her back and she was cleared to go home.  She does however have a large bruise on one leg.  We don't know exactly what happened or why she went unconscious but I am grateful that she is ok.  The best moment was when I could finally give her a hug.
Now as I look at her sleeping peacefully, safe and sound in her own bed I know how lucky I am.  I got to bring her home and there was no serious damage, lots of parents aren't so lucky.
As you tuck your little ones into bed remember to be thankful that they are safe and well because life can change in a moment.
