COSINESS

Day 325 / 365

During this time of year and throughout summer the morning sun shines brightly through the blinds in Miss A's bedroom.  Seeing as it is now getting light at 4.30am I decided to do something about it before she gets into a routine of waking up at some insane hour because it's so light.  I picked up these gorgeous purple curtains and set up the rod and voila......there you have it.  It actually makes her room more cosy and a lot darker.

SUMMER

Ok so I am behind posting my images again!!! but this was from last week when we had several very hot days.  We spent some time at a friends house in their pool. 

CANVAS

I have been wanting to get a large canvas of the kids for such a long time and when scoopon advertised a 100x75cm canvas for $89 I saw that as my opportunity.    I love this impromptu photo of the two of them so that was my choice.  Well this canvas is certainly huge but I love it.

Max is always telling me he is famous because his name appears on a lot of things including pepsi max ...well now he has competition.  Ok so they spelt my name slightly wrong but it's the thought people, the thought!

FRAGILE

I love how bubbles reflect colours and shapes.   Such a beautiful perfect shape but so very very fragile in its existence.

AArgh I am so far behind again at uploading my images.  These are from Miss A's 5th birthday party last weekend....yes I'm a week behind!

CASTLE CAKE

Initially we were going to make the barbie / princess cake for Miss A's birthday like I made last year but then I came across this tutorial for a princess castle cake which appeared simple enough.

Well I'm no Betty Crocker in the kitchen but after watching the tutorial a few times I felt confident enough to give it a go and here it is.  A little lopsided but a castle all the same and it bought a smile to her face.
